Lex Allan

Lex founded the Lex Allan Group of companies in 1991. He oversees the various Divisions of the company and focuses on a day to day basis with commercial property and lease extensions. Lex is a Chartered Surveyor, a RICS spokesperson for North Worcestershire and the Black Country and regularly appears on BBC Radio WM as ‘a voice of property’.

He is married, and along with his two sons is refurbishing an old farmhouse on the outskirts of Kinver. Lex keeps fit refereeing senior rugby matches and this year is trying his hand at his first triathlon.

Dean Grove

Dean was born in Halesowen and now lives in Clent. After working in London for a short time Dean returned to the Midlands to start his career in property, working his way through the ranks into senior positions of both corporate and independent estate agents. Dean opened his partnership with Lex Allan in 2006 and continues to offer a different approach to Estate Agency. Dean is married with two young children and enjoys a variety of sporting activities in any spare time he gets.

Jason Morris

Jason was born and bred in Wolverhampton and apart from a brief period at University as always lived locally. He now lives in Kingswinford and is married to and works alongside Cathy in lettings.

Jason joined Lex Allan Lettings in 1997 and was made a Director in 2004. Jason is very I.T. capable and is our resident ‘Techno Wizard’. Most weekends Jason can be found aloft on some of Britain’s highest peaks or on a touch-line cheering on his son at Stourbridge R.F.C junior rugby matches.

Stewart Alcock

Prior to joining Lex Allan Stewart successfully ran his own Estate Agency in Stourbridge. With over 30 years experience Stewart claims to have sold every style of property in the area! Stewart lives in Wollaston with his wife and daughters and seems to be continuously engaged in the never-ending task of restoring a succession of Victorian houses. He enjoys gardening, the great outdoors and keeps fit by a combination of cycling, running and keeping his intake of real ales to a minimum.

Jerry Reeve

Jerry is married to a local solicitor and has two daughters and has lived in Pedmore for over 15 years. He started his career in retail sales taking a change of tack over 20 years ago.

Jerry is a sporting fanatic and a lover of fine wine - a volatile combination! He is never happier than with his family whether on holiday, at home or just out walking on the hills and canals locally.

Dawn Hughes

Dawn Hughes is one of the best known names in Halesowen estate agency with many years of experience and an irrepressible enthusiasm for the profession. She lives locally in Hayley Green with her husband and two sons. All the family are keen equestrians and put in long hours with their numerous steeds. Dawn has a real passion for property which is reflected in her popularity with vendors and purchasers alike.

Phil Swingler

Phil came to Estate Agency over 10 years ago following a decision to make a major career change. After an early career as a tool setter, Phil decided that Estate Agency was the path for him after encouragement from an Estate Agency acquaintance. Phil lives in Halesowen with his partner and three young children. A fervent scooter enthusiast (much to his partner’s dismay) and yet another employee with a passion for music. Phil collects Northern Soul vinyl and DJ’s at weekends.

Lisa Saunders

Lisa joined the Lex Allan Grove team in 2007, having worked previously for several years at the well known Halesowen company, James Grove & Sons. This gives Lisa a great knowledge of the local area and is now our personal agent for properties in the B64 locality. Lisa lives in Halesowen and effortlessly manages to balance the roles of dedicated Mum and committed property professional. Lisa has a wide circle of friends and when not socialising loves to immerse herself in a good book.

Simon Senior

Originally from Cheshire Simon moved to Stourbridge 9 years ago after meeting with his now wife while playing guitar in a band. When Simon joined us, he already had a proven track record as a successful negotiator with a large national corporate agency.

Simon now lives locally in the Old Quarter and in his spare time he plays football and walks his dog ‘Ted’ As the man on the ground, Simon offers his own local specialist knowledge in the Old Quarter. Wordsley, Kingswinford and Amblecote.

Pam Holley

Pam started her working life in the travel industry before having a break to start a family. Pam has lived in Oldswinford for the past 5 years with her husband. She loves experimenting with interior design ideas, much to her husband’s bemusement!

Pam joined our estate agency team in 2006 and her sparkling personality means that she develops an excellent rapport with vendors and purchasers alike. Pam is a keen tennis player and often can be found at Stourbridge Tennis Club and is a regular visitor to the gym.

Sarah Cockerill

A recent addition to the lettings team Sarah has an ARLA Diploma in Residential Lettings and brings over 6 years of industry experience.

Sarah loves to travel and recently took a year out from her successful career to backpack around New Zealand. A keen Yoga enthusiast and at weekends she can often be found walking her Patterdale Terrier ‘Molly’ over Clent Hills.

Lex Allan Jr

A fresh faced and much better looking version of the older Lex Allan, joined the Company as a junior negotiator after completing a BTEC course in music at Kidderminster College. Lex is an avid attendee of his local gym, and is keen on all aspects of modern music.

Louise Hackett

Louise has a wealth of property agency experience having worked in “The Business” for over 10 years.

She is eminently adaptable and has exemplary skill sets in negotiation, marketing and running ‘New Home’ sales centres.

Louise is one of our hardest working members of staff balancing her working commitments with the time she spends with her daughter and yet still finds time to keep ‘trim in the gym’!

Jessica Bryan

Jess has worked in estate agency since Oct 2015 and recently bought her first home so is intimately aware of the whole process from start to finish and as a result has a new found empathy with the pitfalls experienced by seller and buyer that she puts to excellent use in her professional role within the office. Along the way, she has found a new passion for designing and decorating. A keen animal lover and very competent horse rider, Jess also enjoys the great outdoors, keeping fit, travelling to new places and loves socialising with friends.

Jamie Cotton

After graduating from University, Jamie took some time-out to fulfil a dream travelling over most of SE Asia, and North & South America. He completed his Estate Agent NVQ’s level 2 and 3 in quick succession and subsequently joined the Lex Allan & Grove in the New Year. Jamie lives in Romsley with his parents and splits his time between work and spending time with his partner in London. Once a competitive Equestrian at a National level, Jamie now just describes himself as ‘A happy hacker’.

Ian Appleby

Ian originally joined Lex Allan around the company’s inception in 1991 and spent 13 years in residential lettings, progressing to the position of Associate Partner. After a ‘sabbatical’ from property where he ran a bespoke executive travel agency, Ian rejoined the company in 2013. Ian is married with a son and lives in Amblecote. In his spare time he enjoys watching all sports and is a local league football referee. He also enjoys playing snooker, badly! Although his ‘claim to fame’ is a huge 57 break!

Nicky Jenkinson

Formerly an accomplished legal secretary Nicky joined us in 2009 having decided on a change of career path. Nicky not only looks after the majority of new Tenant enquiries but also deals efficiently with any maintenance issues which arise in the portfolio.Her ever cheerful disposition and exemplary organisational skills make her ideal for the role.

She is a committed mother of 2 and a stalwart support to her husband who is a successful local builder. She lives locally in Kingswinford and in her spare time likes to hit the road enjoying camping and caravanning holidays across the country.

Wendy Ryall

Wendy has worked for Lex Allan for more years than she cares to remember! She has risen through the ranks to the position of Company Secretary – a role requiring a high level of administration and accountancy capability.

Wendy lives in Hagley with her daughter and when not at work enjoys travelling with her partner to glamorous destinations across the globe.

Harvey Pearson

Harvey is one of Lex Allan youngest members and this is his first fulltime position. After finishing his A’ levels Harvey spent some time coaching football for schools and local football academies. He is also studying part-time for a degree in Business Management.

Harvey continues with his football passion and plays for a local team in Halesowen. At the weekends he can be found in clubs listening to live music or performing as a DJ.

Wendy Crimmonds

Wendy was born and bred in Halesowen and lives locally with her husband and daughter. Wendy has many years experience in property working initially for a company of Chartered Surveyors in Birmingham moving up the ranks in estate agencies in Bearwood and Quinton. Wendy joined Lex Allan & Grove when the company first set up and is the 'backbone' to the well oiled admin machine. She enjoys a hectic social life and is one of our most lively members of staff both in and out of the office!

Bev Southwick

Bev offers an exceptional breadth of experience and is able to identify and address issues that may impact the successful outcome to a sale. She is calm in a crisis and ever cheerful in her disposition.

Kay Webb

Kay joined Lex Allan & Grove in 2007 in a role for which she is tailor-made. She is bubbly, cheerful and immensely helpful to prospective purchasers. Kay lives in Halesowen and before joining the Team ran her own retail business. Prior to this she worked in retail and as a P.A. to the M.D. of a local engineering company. Kay is a really popular member of staff and plays a key part in successfully introducing purchasers to properties. When not at work Kay likes walking, gardening and holidays in exotic locations.

Laura Rikunenko

Laura Joined Lex Allan in 2000 as an office junior and has worked her way through the ranks gaining valuable experience in most facets of the Lettings administration role.

She has recently married and lives in Amblecote with her husband and two delightful young daughters. She now works on a part time basis enjoying the being a Mum and continuing to be part of the Lex Allan team.Laura loves quality time with her family and is a regular visitor to West Midlands Safari park (for the children of course!!)

Donna Eagles

You have to be up with the sky larks to beat Donna into work! A notoriously early riser Donna keeps our Estate Agency admin in ship shape order.

Even before work she is out and about in all weathers exercising her dog in the Wordsley parks and on local canal tow paths. When her work is done the party animal in her comes out to play – light the blue torch paper and stand back!

When not crunching the numbers James can be usually found indulging his passion for running around the streets and countryside of Stourbridge in notoriously stylish running outfits.

Lynne Brown

Lyn joined Infinity Financial Advice in 2014 after 10 years of professional development at Nationwide BS. Her passion for her job is highlighted by the fact she has the biggest desk in the office to accommodate all of her thank you cards. Mortgage advice only comes second to Stan her pet Jack Russell. Stan always sleep with one eye open in-case he wakes up Lyn’s favourite colour – Pink!

Tim Jones

Tim has gained extensive experience and knowledge during almost two decades working within financial services and derives great satisfaction from helping people to find the right mortgage for their new home. Tim is married to his very patient and long suffering wife, which is just as well due to his passion for listening to and playing music at every available opportunity outside of work.

Andy Taylor

Andy is one of our clients first point of contact providing us with Energy Performance Certificates and floor plans for initial marketing. Andy became an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor right at the inception of EPC’s back in 2008 and trades as ‘The EPC Man’

Andy lives in Halesowen and is married with a young son who he is already training to follow in his footsteps. Prior to starting his business Andy worked in Estate Agency for over 10 years and has a wealth of property knowledge.
